Travelers coming to the U.S. for tourism or business for 90 days or less from qualified countries may be eligible to visit the U.S. without a visa if they meet the visa waiver program requirements. Traveling under the 'Waiver Program' is now subject to enhanced security requirements. All eligible travelers who wish to travel under the Visa Waiver Program must apply for authorization in advance. In general this authorization can be obtained in less than 24 hours but it is recommended that you apply at least 72 hours before your planned departure.
You can apply up to two years in advance but it is recommended that you wait until most of your travel arrangements have been made. The "Waiver Authorization" link on the left will take you to a secure website that can answer most of your questions.
