Approved ATF 6NIA form:
Approval takes anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks.For the 2011 WRABF World Championship do not submit before August 2010!
All of the sections need to be filled in completely except - Item 4. (Fax ) & 14.(h.).
For Item 14. (a.) Name and Address of Manufacturer. Just list the Action and the Country of manufacture. For example: Anschutz - Switzerland or Hall - USA etc.
For Item 14. (d.) If you do not know or have a Model then Custom should work. If you use Custom or if the rifle is not easily identifiable from your description then it would be a Good Idea to submit a picture of the rifle along with the form!
If you are part of a Team then it will speed up the process if all are submitted at the same time. If you know any Individuals from your country who are not on the "Team" you can include them with your Teams submission. If all the Team members are listed on the Invitation and they are submitted together then you only need to submit one copy of the invitation.
The Approval process is rather easy for most countries if you submit the 6NIA Form, Invitation & any additional documentation that you feel might be needed.
Russia and any countries who were part of the former USSR might have to get approval thru the State Department first!
